COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Elmer J. Mast, Joshua A. Weimer, Tad T. Hite.
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Zachary J. Stoltzfus, C. Arlene Lazzaro
OLD BUSINESS: Fire Truck Purchase; The Town Manager reported that Spartan Motors, Inc. of Brandon, SD accepted all the contract recommendations made by the Town Attorney for the purchase of the Tanker Truck for the Fire Department, they also agreed to hold the purchase price at $413,499.00. The next step is consideration of an Ordinance and approval of the Contract by the Town Council.
CONTRACT: A motion passed approving the contact for the purchase of a Tanker Truck for the Shipshewana Fire Department in the amount of $413,499.00 as presented and authorization was given for the Council President to sign the same.
ORDINANCE: A motion passed unanimously approving AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A TRUCK FOR THE TOWN OF SHIPSHEWANA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT.
MOTION: A motion passed suspending the rules for a second reading of all Ordinances.
MOTION: A motion passed adjourning the meeting.
