Leaf pickup by the Town staff will begin the week of October 12th. If leaves fall quickly and in large volume, the staff will be picking up as many days as they can be released from other duties. The town staff will pick up leaves through November 30. Please remember the following:
- Because staff can’t cover the whole Town in one day, they do one section at a time.
- You are required to bring leaves to the end of the street or road and not into them
- Place leaves in piles
Be sure there are only leaves to be picked up! We will not pick up leaves that contain grass clippings, plants, twigs, branches or any non-leaf material. If there are grass clippings in the pile, the homeowner is responsible to dispose of it at the compost site themselves.
