⭐ Celebrate Our Hometown Heroes! ⭐
Our community is proud to honor the brave individuals who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting others. The Hometown Heroes Program allows residents to recognize and celebrate local men and women who have served in a wide range of vital roles.
If you know someone who deserves to be honored, we invite you to participate! Eligible honorees include:
Armed Forces Eligibility
- Honorably discharged veterans
- Those who were Killed in Action (KIA)
- Conscientious Objectors
- As defined by the Selective Service System; must provide proof of two years of alternative service
🚓 Law Enforcement
- Graduates of an accredited law enforcement academy (or equivalent)
- Served full‑time for at least 10 years, or KIA
🚒 Fire Department
- Graduates of the Fire & Public Safety Academy (or equivalent)
- Served as a volunteer firefighter for at least 30 years, or KIA
🚑 EMT / Paramedic
- Completed EMT or Paramedic certification(s)
- Served full‑time for at least 10 years, or KIA
This is our chance to proudly celebrate the individuals who stood up to serve — whether on the battlefield or right here at home.
