Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) to obtain assistance from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Loan Program for Wastewater improvements.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the members of the Shipshewana Town Council, the governing body of the Town of Shipshewana, Indiana, will hold a public hearing at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Shipshewana Town Hall, Roger D. Yoder meeting room, located at 345 N Morton Street, Shipshewana, Indiana. The Town of Shipshewana’s engineering consultant will present the recommended upgrades to the Town of Shipshewana’s wastewater infrastructure, which will include improvements to the wastewater collection system and wastewater treatment plant as described in the PER. The project is submitted for funding through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF).
At this hearing, there will be the opportunity for questions and comments from the public. Participation is welcomed and encouraged. If special assistance is required at the meeting, please contact the Town Hall at 260-768-4743. Copies of the PER are available for public viewing starting May 13, 2024 (10 days prior to the Public Hearing) through May 28, 2024 (5 days following the Public Hearing).
